For solemnities the antiphons are proper. If, however, a solemnity occurs on Sunday, the psalms are taken from Sunday, Week I. For solemnities the psalms are taken from the complementary psalmody for each of the three hours. Those who say several hours use the current psalmody for one hour in the other hours they use the complementary psalmody. Those who say only one of the three hours use the current psalmody even on feasts. The text in the Ordinary of my four-volume breviary says: I pray all seven offices, and I want to make sure I understand something, as in my opinion this particular section of the Ordinary is clear as mud.
